Kugler Company is seeking a qualified sales representative to join our team at our Cheyenne Wells, Colorado retail location. This person will be responsible for selling company products and services that our customers have grown to rely on. This sales representative will have a strong understanding of how the industry works and with that knowledge will be able to generate leads, build relationships, and close deals. The ideal candidate will be able to assist in forecasting fertilizer for customers. This person must be both personable and professional.
Job Duties:
· Maintain working relationships with existing customers to ensure that they receive excellent service and to identify potential new sales opportunities.
· Take soil samples for customers and be able to provide recommendations from that data.
· Identify prospective customers, set appointments, and make effective sales calls.
· Promptly handle any customer quality concerns and/or issues.
· Ability to know the market and keep informed of the area competitors.
· Willingness to support the plant’s operations and help as needed within the location.
Qualifications:
· College degree or equivalent experience.
· 3 years of sales experience within the agricultural industry or a similar industry.
· Strong attention to detail, organization skills and ability to follow instructions.
· Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
